Julie Schultz brings personalized time and attention to your family law case. She understands that a common family law client concern is that the client does not receive regular communication and updates from their attorney about their case. Julie believes that effective lawyering includes frequent reviews of each case, along with dedication and fierce advocacy.

Julie is a native of Missouri. She attended the University of Missouri-Columbia, earning a B.S. with honors in Fisheries and Wildlife with a minor in Biology. Her scientific background brings a unique, practical, and evidence-based approach to her work as an attorney. She also earned her law degree from Mizzou with an emphasis on environmental law. While in law school, Julie competed in negotiation competitions and participated in the Child Protection Legal Clinic where she worked on actual adoption cases. She was also a member of the Women’s Law Association.

Eager to live among beautiful mountain scenery and enjoy the beautiful outdoors, Julie began her family law career in southern Oregon. She then relocated to Colorado Springs to work with the experienced family law attorneys at Graham.Law.

Julie has a passion for helping those in need. She worked for several years in the non-profit field before beginning her legal career. This non-profit work instilled compassion in Julie that she brings to her work as an attorney as she defends and advises her family law clients.

Julie loves being outdoors and enjoys the beautiful nature in Colorado. She is happiest when she is walking/hiking with her two rescue dogs. She is a long-time volunteer with animal rescue groups and an advocate for companion animal adoption, including dogs, cats, horses, rabbits, birds, and pocket pets.
