For several years, managing partner Carl Graham has been named to Colorado Springs Magazine‘s Top Attorneys list. And this year, our firm is doubly honored, as the magazine has named both Carl and partner Tahli Delgado to the list.

What are Top Attorneys?

First, a bit about the award itself. Our attorneys receive numerous nominations and awards every year, but most of them go straight into the trash, as they are basically pay-to-play vanity awards, where the list of “honorees” is nothing but advertising for the attorneys willing to pay a few hundred dollars for a generic-sounding award.

There are a few exceptions to that – Super Lawyers and Best Lawyers on the national stage, and Colorado Springs Magazine for the local scene.

The magazine works hand in hand with the El Paso County Bar Association, whereby the local bar sends ballots to all members in the fall, and local attorneys vote on the top attorneys in each practice area. So this is completely a peer-reviewed award, selected by the local attorneys who know us best.

Carl has won the award for most years since about 2014, as outlined in this earlier blog post about the Top Attorneys Award.

Tahli Delgado Named Top Family Law Attorney for 2026

This year, Graham.Law partner Tahli Delgado received two different honors:

  • Top Family Law Attorney for 2026, and
  • Top Child Custody Attorney for 2026.

If you have had Tahli represent you, it’s easy to see how her tenacity and expertise have wowed her peers. She has already been honored by the other two awards that matter, Super Lawyers and Best Lawyers, so it was only a matter of time before she received this local award.

Moreover, it’s not just fellow clients who know her skills – Tahli presents at family law conferences, she chairs the El Paso County Family Law Section, and is known and respected by lawyers and judges alike.

And yours truly has made the Colorado Springs Magazine Top Attorneys list again this year, for three different areas of law:

  • Top Family Law Attorney for 2026,
  • Top Divorce Law Attorney for 2026, and
  • Top Premarital Agreements Attorney for 2026.

I have taught these areas of law to attorneys at both local and statewide conferences for years, so I do know a thing or two about representing family law clients. And I make sure the domestic relations attorneys in our firm also master this challenging area of practice.

Finally, apologies that the profiles lack photos. The magazine has to make money somehow, so while you can’t buy your way onto the list, only those who pay extra to advertise in the Top Attorney edition have a profile and photo included. We are honored to make several lists w/o paying a dime!
